Aylings Garden Centre

Aylings Garden Centre is situated half way between Petersfield and Midhurst on the scenic A272. It is at the heart of the new Southdowns National Park.

The Nursery was set up by the Aylings family in 1935 and has developed into a modern Garden Centre with all the features you would expect.

We have a new Coffee Shop offering a full range of Coffee time treats, a full lunch menu and tasty afternoon teas.

Our Mower shop offers the best available of modern Garden Machinery from ride on Mowers to Strimmers. Hedge trimmers, Chainsaws and accessories as well as a fully equipped workshop for repairs and routine maintenance of all your mechanised garden tools.

We specialise in having a wide range of plants including our choice of over 150 varieties of Clematis. We have a range of over 100 varieties of ornamental and fruit trees. In season we have over 500 varieties of Herbaceous and perennial plants as well as the usual seasonal Bedding plants. We also operate a plantfinder service for those difficult to find favourites. We find most of our plants within fifty miles of our site. However we do buy plants from specialist Nurseries in Europe when necessary.

Our Giftware includes a large Cane and Basketware shop, We stock Garden Furniture, Barbecues and picnicware in season and at Christmas time convert part of our space into a Seasonal Christmas Shop.

We sell a wide range of Houseplants including the ever-popular Orchids – including Phalaenopsis, Cymbidiums, Miltonias, Dendrobiums, Cambrias, and Vandas when in season.

We don't forget traditional Gardening – we have over 30 varieties of Potatoes in season, selling most of them loose so that you can try a few of each variety. We have a very wide range of garden chemicals as well as offering advice when presented with your problems! We stock a wide range of flower and vegetable seeds as well as a very wide range of young vegetable plants - including over 20 varieties of Tomato plants when in season.
